Lux House of Beauty Policies
1. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation Policy Booking: (online, phone, in-person). Deposit Required for all bookings May take CC over phone to confirm appointment. Confirmation: Confirmations are sent via email and text Reminder texts and emails are sent 3 days for clients to confirm. Cancellations and No Show: Clients must cancel or reschedule 48 hours prior to appointment. Late Cancel : Deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required for future bookings Any cancellations with less than 48 hours of notice or no shows are subject to deposit forfeited. No Shows: Deposit will be forfeited and will have to prepay in advance in order to rebook an appointment.
2. Late Arrival Policy: We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow time for parking. Please do not bring anyone to your appointment unless they are getting a treatment. Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time to ensure that the next guest is not delayed. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be guaranteed extension of scheduled treatments. Treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.
3. Payment Policy All major credit cards are accepted. We also accept Lux House of Beauty Gift cards. Any gift cards, vouchers, or certificates must be mentioned at time of booking.
4. Refund Policy Products: Only Unopened & Unused products in their original packaging may be returned within 7 days for a full refund.
5. Health and Safety Policy: Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries or special needs which may affect your services. If you have Covid-19 symptoms, Common Cold, allergies, a rash, a cold sore or any open sores on your skin, your treatment will need to be rescheduled.
6. Service Guarantee and Refund Policy: We value the satisfaction of our customers and strive to address any concerns promptly. Once services are completed, refunds will not be issued. If you encounter any issues with our services, we are committed to finding a suitable resolution, such as redoing the service or providing an alternative. Please feel free to discuss any concerns with our team.
7. Children and Pets Policy: We love kids, however due to safety hazards in our space such as sharp implements, hot tools and chemicals, no children under 12 are permitted in the salon. We thank you for arranging childcare the day of your appointment so we can maintain this zen space for all our clients. We love pets too, however per California state law, no pets of any kind allowed in the salon. Exceptions only for certified service animals.
8. Personal Belongings Policy: Lux House of Beauty is not responsible for personal items that have been lost or misplaced or damaged at our salons.
9. Behavioral Policy: We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived to be inappropriate or disruptive to our Lux House of Beauty atmosphere.
10. Gift Certificate Policy: No cash advances: You cannot obtain any cash advance with your Gift Card or redeem your Gift Card for cash. Lost or stolen Gift Cards: Treat your Gift Card like cash. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded. Gift Cards cannot be cancelled: You cannot cancel your Gift Card. Your Gift Card, your responsibility: You are responsible for the use and safety of your Gift Card.
11. Loyalty and Referral Programs No cash advances: You cannot obtain any cash advance with your points and credits or redeem for cash.
12. Service Changes and Pricing Policy Price Adjustments: Lux House of Beauty reserves the right to adjust prices for services and products without prior notice. Prices are reviewed periodically to reflect market conditions, supply costs, and other relevant factors. Quoted Prices: All prices quoted at the time of booking or inquiry are estimates and subject to change. The final cost will be confirmed upon consultation and before the service begins. For services requiring a deposit, the quoted price at the time of booking will be honored unless significant modifications to the service are requested.
13. Special Promotions and Discounts Policy: We periodically offer promotions and discounts. These are time-sensitive and subject to specific terms and conditions. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
